What we collect

ZippyElf collects only what's necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — only if you sign in or make a purchase. Used to send your login link and payment receipt.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Resume PDFs — uploaded for processing only. Files are read in memory, never written to disk or stored after your session ends.
• Usage data — basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, route). Not sold or shared.

What we don't do

• We don't store your resume or its contents after processing.
• We don't sell your data to anyone.
• We don't use your data for advertising.
• We don't share your email with third parties except as described below.

Third-party services

ZippyElf uses third-party services for payment processing, transactional email, and resume text extraction. These services may process data you provide as part of their operation. We only share what is necessary for each service to function.

Cookies

ZippyElf does not use third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention

If you create an account, your email address and payment status are stored in our database for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time by emailing mattc@zippyelf.com.
